Verizon customer service

Ive been calling Verizon customer service all day today in regards to a massive bill increase and all times they have hung up on me.  The last one said " I am Like a manager but if want to talk to one it will be 30 minutes to 3 hours who knows!" At this point i just want to disconnect my lines. I have been with Verizon a very long time . Please help!
