I recently had to cancel one of the lines on my account for a very sad reason. It was my boyfriends phone line and I lost him a week before Christmas.
Verizon charged me for his phone payoff in full before they would cancel the line, Even under the extreme circumstances, they would not even issue a mere 5% discount.
To top it all off since my account only had 2 remaining lines instead of 3, they raised the price for the two lines by $15. each. Like they don't have enough money.
Being totally devastated with my loss wasn't enough. Companies like these just keep twisting the knife.
I bet a situation like this would not happen to one of their higher ups.
Anyway Verizon, I know it won't matter to you at all because nothing seems to matter to verizon except $$$$$ but I will be looking into another carrier for my mobile devices.
I hope many other customers do also.
