Verizon is not returning my $1273.93

Verizon made me pay $1273.93 for a device for which return was in progress. I was traveling to Japan so I could not have an inactive phone. I paid on the trust that they will refund my money after they receive the phone. It has been more than 6 month and 10+ hours of calls but that have not yet send me my money back.
that phone was sent to me by mistake. Company had no records of that phone being with me. I was honest to report and start a return process. However this is how they treat customers.
Now no customer service or store representative is there who can help me.

My ticket number created on June 11 was *****. This is not resolved yet.
