Verizon not honoring promotion after 6 months and confirmation that I should receive the promotion

In December, I traded in my phone for the offer that indicated if I upgraded my line to the highest tier that I would receive $1000 in credit for my current phone and apply it to the upgrade to the newest iPhone. There was a bunch of mix up where my line didn't properly get upgraded and Verizon lost track of my trade in phone that I sent in but I had all of the receipts to show that the phone was delivered and had multiple discussions with Verizon chat and phone help to try and figure it out. In March, I was able to talk with a customer service rep who verified that I was supposed to receive the promotion and applied it to my account for which I saw a credit that indicated it was for a trade-in related credit. In April, I did not see the credit applied but the rep indicated it could take a couple billing cycles in order to apply. Now it's May and I've gotten my bill for this cycle and it is still NOT applied.

It has been roughly 6 months since the offer was transacted and a constant headache with reps telling me it has been sorted out but obviously that is not the case. My only real option left would be to file a complaint with Colorado AG office. I've seen people have had success bringing it to the attention of the discussion thread so I'm hoping someone here can help. I've never had such a headache dealing with Verizon for an upgrade and I'm at the point where I want to just cash out what I have left to pay on my phone and stop doing business with them altogether.
