I'm a new customer and showed up to a Verizon store for service. I was shortly promised a free galaxy 22 ultra, but a couple days after I noticed a lease on this device. Customer service and the store now tell me that there aren't any promotions applicable to my device.
I'll be returning my device and modem, expecting them to charge me a $50 restocking fee.
