Verizon put my account in collections without notice!

Has anyone had similar issues with Verizon throwing you into collections with less than a 30 day "open" debt?

 i had paid for the following month's services in advance of 2/19-3/18 and had a disconnection date of 2/23. I was advised that it will take 2 billing cycles to see a credit owed seeing I paid in advance but only used 5 days of service. 

I had reached out via chat to reps to follow up regarding the credit owed and was advised it would be handled. I NEVER received a credit  so I had reached out to my bank and opened a dispute in May  and provided the billing information, chat transcripts showing reps stating id recieve a credit, along with the disconnection confirmation email. My bank did an investigation and documented was in fact a verizon error and reversed the funds back to me July 3rd.

By July 9th Verizon reported to the credit beaurus that I have a "delinquent" account!!! no notice, nothing!!! this insane issue dropped my score 110 which removed my excellent credit score!!!! I had been calling Verizon and sending messages via chat and have been advised I should only pay 5 days. the bill was only 54.99 which I ended up paying in full seeing at this point the refund isnt worth waiting for due to the substantial drop in score which is more important. I called and spoke to recovery department and the rep asked if anyone provided me a credit and i explained no everyone keeps giving me a run around but i do have chat transcripts as proof stating I am owed a credit, I was told that they can only give me a letter stating it was paid in full and cannot remove it from my credit report .I believe based on having all documents  such as transcripts from reps telling me i owe ONLY 5 days, along with a quick turn around of 6 days being an open balance, and showing that per my bank it was reversed due to an error on verizons end, and showijg it was all initially paid on time prior should be enough evidence to dispute with the credit beaurus

has anyone had issues like this before as well?

Hi I have called, and also have chats over the last month with promises it would be deleted from my credit history and it is still reflecting on my credit. the number provided is just a general number, at this point would be be possible to speak with a specific person seeing over the last month I have spoken to various different reps having to reexplain the situation nearly every time?
