Sent my phone back using the box Verizon sent me. Store clerk also told me to mail it. Was told on Nov 26 by Joe that the phone was received and scanned on Nov 11. Bill would be credited. Got an email that they don’t have it and are reserving the credit due to me. Have spent almost 3 hours on the phone. I explain. They don’t listen and ask the same questions over and over. “Check” the warehouse. Tell me they can’t do a promo credit. Tell me that in fact they can to a promo credit, but go ahead and pay uncredited amount again this month while they “investigate.”
I have been a Verizon customer for decades. There are plenty of other carriers who would like my business-I pay on time every month and own multiple devices.

MsCranky, we're truly sorry to learn of your experience, and certainly understand your concerns regarding the missing trade-in credit on your account. We'd love to help turn this around, and will be sending a Private Message for further review.

You have an email for contacting me when I use this app that doesn’t work anymore and won’t let me update it. This is the ONLY part of your app where I see the old one. you always manage to send me bills to the correct email. But for solving problems you use the wrong one.

Yep. If you look through the forums, you'll see that they have been doing that a lot lately. They did this to me as well. I spent weeks on the phone with customer service and got nowhere. One FCC complaint, and my situation was resolved in hours. I cannot find a listing online for Verizon "top-tier" customer service, but that's apparently where you need to get to for any real help.

It's worrying to see that your trade-in is unable to be found. How did you trade it in? What process did you take? What package did you use? ~Geo
