Verizon won’t cancel my order?

Hello, I have been trying to cancel my Verizon purchase and order for one week today and no one appears to be able to do it and I keep getting conflicting stories.
I purchased a new phone and phone plan online through Verizon’s website for in store pickup at a location near my house. After attempting to pick up my new phone the sales guy told me that my 4 digit code wasn’t working and he couldn’t give it to me. He suggested I reset it, so I did, still nothing. So he recommended I come back later in case it works then, I did, still nothing. SO THEN he recommends I cancel the order and get a phone in store (which he can’t match any of the online deals so it would mean I pay an extra 10 dollars a month) so I say no and leave. I then try to call the store to cancel the order and they say that I can’t, I have to go through customer service.
I have now called customer support 5 separate times. I have had customer support tell me that the store has to cancel it, I have had the store tell me that they can’t but customer support can. I have been on hold and transferred to so many Verizon agents. I have been told that my order is cancelled and that I will receive email confirmation twice. Both of which have never happened and my card is still charged!! No refund pending. I was also told my order will auto cancel after not picking it up for 3 days which has ALSO NOT HAPPENED.
I even had one Verizon agent tell me that it was terrible I have had to deal with this and then they dipped out mid convo and essentially told me this is the bad experience to expect from Verizon and I was transferred AGAIN. (See attached screenshot).
this is genuinely the worst customer service I have ever received at any company and I’ve worked in the service industry for 5 years. Although I had originally planned on switching to Verizon this experience has confirmed that I never will!
So since I don’t want to ever buy a phone through Verizon will SOMEONE PLEASE GET MY ORDER CANCELLED.
I can share the order number, location code, my zip code it is a $65.10 charge to my card. LITERALLY at this point I just don’t want to be lied to anymore. Figure it out.
