Verizon won’t issue refund to my Gift Card

I used my $200 gift card on two separate occasions to purchase accessories for pick from a store. The store cancelled my order both times. I called Verizon customer service and was informed that both refunds were issued successfully, however I have still not received the funds to my gift card. It  is unacceptable to wait for a refund for several weeks.  When will I receive the funds back on my gift card? I have called several times.
