I was shocked that both a Verizon representative and a Verizon supervisor refused to refund a credit balance on my account. The credit balance was as a result of my disconnecting High Speed Internet. The credit balance is $29.49 ($14.49 credit on my September bill + $15.00 credit issued subsequently). My only remaining Verizon service is a landline with a Lifeline credit. Due to the Lifeline credit the phone costs just 44¢ per month. They said they don't refund since I am still a customer. However this credit will take about 5½ years to work off at 44¢ per month! This doesn't seem fair. I would like Verizon to issue a refund check to me for $29.49 instead.
