To whomever was in charge of the decision that as veterans we should have to verify we actually are veterans to qualify for the discount that Verizon offers, I say good job. You understand some people falsely claim veterans status to "cheat the system". However, to the mental midget that followed behind that great suggestion with wanting veterans to verify their status annually. Has anyone ever told you once you have been verified as a veteran you remain a veteran for the rest of your life? My, and thousands of others like me, status was paid for in blood and is not a monthly subscription that can lapse for unpaid dues. Could someone, ANYONE, please use common sense and remove this annual verification and put the individual who came up with it in charge of something more their mental speed, like acquiring coffee for the veterans that work in the corporate office.
