Why Does it Take 60 days to Stop my DSL Internet Billing?

I Cancelled my DSL service with Verizon on 12/12/2011. I am still getting a full bill for all services and the money is taken out of my Easy Pay Account.
I thought Verizon bills their customers one month in advance for services.
Will I ever see an adjustment and final bill for the DSL?

This seems to be a common practice with Verizon. I would urge you and others to look elsewhere for service

How did you manage to cancel your service? I am struggling for two weeks but am unable to cancel my internet service.
