Why is Verizon so Awful

I recently moved and attempted to transfer my Verizon Fios service from one location to another. It is insulting to realize every single Verizon customer service representative lied to me. But, to add insult to injury, the Verizon service technician who came to install my all-new wonderful service stole my Roku device. And despite several calls to Verizon customer service, and several promises to "escalate" my complaint and "come back with a solution within two business days" no one has bothered to return my call within a week. I have come to truly hate Verizon, and will tell anyone who asks me how bad they are at customer service and as a carrier. It's horrible what they get away with.
