Wrong Account Number on website

I used to have Verizon years ago and cancelled but recently came back. I tried to pay my bill online but the website shows the wrong account number. I can't see my bill online or pay it because of this. I have tried calling Verizon about this but they were unable to help me with this. Does anyone know a way to correct this?
