We updated our credit card payment do to fraud on old credit card. Verizon took the autopay discount away, which was a total of 60.00 dollars, even though the autopay was not taken off, it still showed up on the new bill as an autopay account. Customer service would only give us 30.00 dollar credit. we have been a customer for over 30 years. Customer service told me that even speaking with a supervisor would not help and no discount would be offered. So what Verizon is saying if you change your credit card # you will be bill the full rate for the next month and then receive the discount on the next billing even if you do everything correctly.

Me3325, we definitely understand wanting to take full advantage of your Auto Pay discount. The last thing we want is for you to miss out on savings, especially as the credit card change was due to factors outside your control. We'd like to take a closer look at your account and review all options. To better assist, we'll be sending a Private Note.
