How do I go about closing my present account and then open a new account. Reason being, mine has been hacked and changing the password did not help. I can only see closing my account and starting all over again. Can this be done Online or do I have to call Verizon by land line?

You must do this on the phone, a chat agent may be able to help. But this is a peep to peer Community with users helping other users. You must contact Verizon directly for account or security issues. Perhaps in a chat or via landline. It may need to be done during normal business hours.

The same thing happened to me. Im curious about what was going on when you were hacked and what equpt you using of verizon's. As it stands now I have a huge bill for 1,100 bucks that when I went in to pay on yesterday (last payment I made was Nov1, 2012) and it shows bal zero. And won't let me pay. THIS BETTER NOT MEAN THEY SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS????? It hasn't even been 30 days yet and I ALWAYS PAID MY BILLS MONTHLY IN FULL> but obviously not these charges. My data was stolen by data hackers. I want to talk to you to find out what was your story.
