closing acount from abroad

I moved out of US but didn't close my verizon account. Is the a way to close it over the internet? I am not able to connect to 1800 verizon number.

Hi ewa,

Congratulations on your move. We hope that everything is working out great for you abroad. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to cancel your account over the Internet. You would have to speak with customer service via phone directly. Since you're abroad, do you have a mobile phone? If so, you can download a voip app such as Vonage Mobile to be able to use in order to make calls over the Internet back to the U.S. That would be a recommendation that we would try.
