Hello,

I hope you can assist me with a pressing issue I've encountered. I was a loyal customer for over a year until I moved to a new location. Recently, I discovered that there was a pending fee related to the disconnection of the equipment. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until several months later, and it has negatively impacted my credit report, leading to a high delinquency mark. I only owe $60, which I promptly paid off as soon as I became aware of it.

This situation is causing significant trouble for my credit score, and I'm in the process of searching for a new house in the coming months. I kindly request your assistance in having this high delinquency mark removed from my credit report. I have consistently made on-time payments during the period when I had your service, and I'm hopeful that we can resolve this matter together.

Your support in rectifying this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We're terribly sorry for the inconvenience you're going through in regard to your old account.  Regarding the request to have Verizon remove the derogatory collection, The Fair Credit Reporting Act promotes the accuracy, fairness, and privacy of information in the files of consumer reporting agencies (CRAS). By law, Verizon Wireless is required to report accurate information only. We cannot remove any delinquency reports from a credit report at the request of a consumer.

Yes you can, and it's done all the time to rectify accounts and get them payed without ruining people's credit even after they pay.

What's actually illegal is not telling people you are racking up charges secretly and then report them to credit reporting agencies.

In my case this is exactly what happened. Thank you Verizon for getting my 1st mortgage denied. My daughter thanks you too. What monsters, it's disgusting.
