iPhone Device Credit keeps being removed from my Account!

3 Months ago I purchased a new iPhone from Verizon under a promotion they were offering which was for $22.22 of each month. At the time they required me to upgrade my wireless plan in order to receive the promotion, which I did. Since then every month they send me emails saying my promotion is going to expire unless I upgrade my plan, and every month I have called about it and they supposedly fix the problem and then the bill comes out and the credit has been removed. Last month they even overcharged me by auto debiting the amount from my bank account. This month they are trying to charge me twice for the credit. I am appalled they cannot fix something that should be so simple and am tired off getting the run around and getting charged for something they offered me and are not handling properly. Has anyone had this same issue and how did you get it resolved?

We definitely want to make sure that your promotional offer is not being removed from your account each month. We would be happy to take a closer look at your account and find out what's going on. To better assist, we'll be sending a Private Note.

Just like your billing system, your private messages don't work either!

No you dont.  No one at VZ wants to do anything that helps solve customer problems if it entails you over billing them.

I have had my device credit removed going on 4 times.  Its insane.  I can not comprehend the level of incompetence that powers verizon.  After this last time, I decided to go to another carrier and will be porting our family plan over soon.

I hope you have better luck resolving this than we did.  I literally have had to call VZ customer service and have spent probably a grand total of 6 hours on the phone with various reps about this issue.  Every time they promise it wont happen again but low and behold our bill goes up $22 a month or two after.   It has to be fraud on the side of Verizon or literally all their representatives are unable to perform their jobs.  Its probably VZ tactic to wear out the customer so they get sick of calling their ridiculous customer service gateway guarded by a completely useless automated system that forces you a minimum 15min wait before speaking to a human.  Unfortunately, none of the humans were able to solve the problem.

Good luck
