About 1-2 Weeks Ago I Got An Email & Notification From Verizon Saying Now That I Paid 50% Of My Phone Off I Could “Upgrade” It!! Great Wonderful Been Meaning To Look Into That…. Now Here’s Where I Get Confused… When I Checked To See How Much It Would Cost Me It Said Around 150ish Which I Had No Problem With At All!! Now After Completely Paying My Phone Bill, No Credit Changes On MY End or Etc Within The 1-2 Weeks Since I Checked The Price… Now When I Go Check Because I Was Going To Gone & Upgrade My Phone… It Now Says I’d Basically Have To Paid Dang Near The FULL Price Of The Phone Just To “Upgrade” It…

From what I understand about these "upgrade early" promos: When you have paid about 50% of your current phone on a contract, if you get an "upgrade" offer, it's really just to buy out your current contract where you will not get hit with early termination penalties. But you will then start a new contract with the new phone. Some people look at it as "getting a new phone for 50% off" every 18 months, but to me it's just having a phone payment for longer because you're buying more devices...
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
