id.me teacher discount not working after 3 support conversations

I am a teacher and I have been having issues with getting my discount for months. The discount was applied on one bill and then never again. I have contacted support on the phone and through chat function at least 3 times and every time my bill has remained unchanged and my discount has not been applied. Whenever I try to sign in with my id.me account it redirects me to the plan page, but says my verification failed. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this service is not working? Thanks.
