my bill of December 2018

I called VERIZON on December 5, 2018 to ask why my bill was of $157.86.  The lady who answered the phone (don't remember her name) asked if she can review my account, which she did.  She removed certains channels that I do not use at all and then she sent me an email with the future billing of $130.12.  Now, I received my new bill and indicates that I have to pay $114.27, which brings the bill to $134.39.  Could you be so kind to explain me this.  I would appreciate it so much.  Thank you.

There are taxes and surcharges associated with your service. That is the difference.
