How do i change the name on the account from my father(who has been deceased for 10 years) to mine?
Well the easy way is to go to a Verizon Corporate store not a reseller location with the death certificate and a Fios invoice. You show them the document which they should be able to access the account. However they may wonder why this was not done 10 years ago, and ask for account password etc. if they do accept it, they will probably do an assumption of liability on the account and you will need to pass a hard credit check.
or you can have them shut the account off and restart it from a new account perspective. Again credit check, swap out equipment get new start date etc.
