overcharged and under serviced

havingfunthanks

so back in April or may I had called verizon looking for assistance due to an upcoming surgery. I was hoping to simply lower my bill to lessen financial stress as a result of being out of work for a few months.  I get a kind lady who agrees to help me lower my bill and even offered me some credits. hung up pleased with the results I had never looked further.

tlToday I'm blessed with a phone call from sales. they were trying to sell the internet I agreed. at which point I'm directed through some agreements and what not. At the end of these agreements we had realized something needed to be updated on the order. sales rep backs us out we start over no big deal. he pushes it through again and now my bill goes from 229 all the way to 400+. obviously I stop review the bill to see that our first order did in fact go through even though he reassured me multiple times it didn't. I start looking at what else I'm paying for and realized my call in April was more of a nightmare than help. I found perks and extras I would've never added before knowing my income is going to be lowered. I dig back through past bills to find 0 credits ever applied, extras added that I don't use, and that my bill had actually increased as a result of the first call.

like any other distraught consumer I call support and im completely pay-walled due to being 30 dollars behind and the payment posts in like 5 hours. I literally cannot get customer service or even stop the payment to simply pay now because the echeck is already processed.  the service given here is 2nd to a dumpster or house fire.
