still pending --- Don't see an option to use verizon gift card to pay mobile phone bill

I reported an issue and requested help.

The issue is still pending, an internal ticket was created (INC013919366) on 2/7/25 which cannot be tracked by us.

More importantly, I see another user suggested something I already reported as referred but still unresolved in my case description. The thing I don't understand is

- someone else accepted a non-solution to be a solution / correct answer !!!     Shouldn't I be the one with option to choose that or at least be able to negate and say it's not a solution because it isn't ?

- how come the ticket is closed / cannot be further commented upon including by the original person who posted this request ?

- Surprised to see many users like someone else's acceptance as correct solution. Particularly when that doesn't help/solve it !!!

 

The overall picture is extremely misleading and I'm not sure if this forum is really resolving any issues at all. At least the experience here very strongly indicates so.
