my voice services are listed as "available" and connected to the mobile network - calls & SMS work.
my blackberry internet service is 'not connected'
full charge, good signal -cant figure out how to "enable' these services..

Check this out.....Select Option>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table>Menu(Blackberry)button>Register Now
You should see a message that your device has been registered.
Check back in with us to see if that gives you the fix. If not we'll move on to the next tip...

You rock! Thanks for being here to help us Newbies. I purchased a new BB Curve 8330 off E-Bay and could not get E-mail and the Browser set up to work. This Forum has helped me fix both issues!

I think pulling out the battery is what did it. I had the same problem, and I removed the battery, and as soon as I powered it back on, I got emails. It seems powering off alone won't do the trick, but removing the battery seems to fix the problem.
Your post gave me the battery idea, and it worked. Thanks.
