Address Book Missing - Blackberry 8830

I'm trying to sync Outlook contacts with my phone's address book.  When I sync'd them now I can't see my addresses - although in my call history the contact name shows up and I can click on it and see all of the information for each call that I should see in my phone's address book.  Also - when I go into address book properties, I see there are 184 entries.  Also - there is no filter on the address book.  This is driving me crazy!  I know the information is there somewhere, but how can I get to it again?
