How do I stop new voicemail alerts from going to my text messages? I know I've done this before but can seem to find anything on my Blackberry.

Visual voice mail (VVM) is going to send you a message telling you that you recieved a VVM. Other that disabling VVM, you can set up a filter to filter out SMS text messages from everyone except those people who are in your contacts database. You can go to Options>Security Options>Firewall. Select Status: Enabled, check the box next to SMS and go down to Except messages from Contacts(check this box). Now you will only recieve SMS messages from people in your contacts list.
