BB Curve 9330 Prepaid - temporary discontinuation?

Hi folks,

So I have the BlackBerry Curve 9330, and I'm on the Monthly Prepaid Plan (450 anytime minutes, unlimited texting + $30 data package). All in all it's $94.99 a month, which is a lot of money, but I'm happy to have the BlackBerry.

Here's my question: I will be out of the country for three months this summer, and won't be using my BlackBerry obviously. Do I still have to keep making my monthly payments for the months I'm not using the phone, or can I just start paying again when I start using it again? I'm afraid that the number/line will deactivate if I don't use it for three months at a time.

If someone could answer this for me, I'd be really grateful!
