BB Curve -Messages Icon - mailbox

My BB curve does not have a mailbox icon, how do I get it.  I only have the email icons, red BBM icon and the sms mms icon.

Try this,

hit menu key twice and click show all

if not try options > advanced options > host routing table > menu key> register now

still don't see it

pull battery while phone is on, wait 30 seconds and put it back in... wait several minutes while it boots up

Did you setup your email account for the blackberry?  If you did not, that would cause this as well.
