BB curve to LG En-V Touch

since i have the BB curve 8330 if I wanted to switch phones with my brother for a week (to the ENV touch) would i have to change my plan? i have 900 mins with 5 friends and family w/unlimited email.

The Env Touch requires a data plan which is less expensive then the blackberrys have. I believe you can get the data plan for $9.99 a month.
