Battery life

Is anyone else having problems wih the Storm battery only lasting 8 hours with limited in/out calls. I fully charge it and only run the 5 options in the menu , but somehow after 8 or 9 hours I need to recharge it. On another note what about a white line appearing at the top of the screen during a call blanks out the top half of the screen not allowing to see your incoming call ID. I also have trouble with the call log screen blanking out after a week of calss. I know I have atleast 40 calls in a week but what is the maximum number of clls it will hold, after I scroll down to the bottom of the call log the last part of the screen is white and it doesn't allow the fields to be "highlighted" there after. I was one of the first STORM owners bought it in Decenmber. I have spent HOURS with Tech Support to know resolve they will not or have not honored the ONE YEAR WARRANTY.If you have any information help me out..

The below site adds a lot more clarity and information about this subject.   In general Lithium Ion batteries do not need "deep cycling", however they very much benefit from proper "conditioning".   In fact, most of us have electronic manuals (cell phones, lap tops, etc.) where there is almost always a section on the proper break-in (conditioning) of lithium ion batteries.    I hope this proves useful and helpful.   :smileyhappy:

First turn off all things that drain  power like your status lights, and key beeps. Also remember to close applications when done because they will continue to run in the background and drain the battery, and as ohters have mentioned as the battery becomes conditioned it will last longer.
