BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 Device Software

Does anyone know where I can get the device software from?  It doesn't appear that Verizon has released it yet.  I need the BlackBerry 4.6 OS device software for my phone, not the desktop software.  I need to reload the OS but can't find it anywhere. 

 

Any help would be appreciated!

If http://vzw.smithmicro.com/blackberry/ doesn't have it and http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/devices/ doesn't have it, then you might not be able to get an official version yet.

 

You could also do a hardwipe thru your security settings. This essentially wipes of ALL data and reinstalls it for you.

Are you having some kind of issue/bug/glitch??

Doing a handheld wipe is not going to help me here, as I bricked my phone.  I would like the official Verizon 4.6 OS instead of another carriers OS which I am currently using.  How long does Verzon usually take to release the BB OS for newly released devices?

Yikes, what on earth did you do to brick your phone?

 

I would assume they would have the software available as soon as the phone is released, but assuming is never safe. Your next best bet is to see if a local store would be able to reload the software for you. Or if it was something that didn't void your warranty you can get the device exchanged for another new one.
