I can not find information on how to change the sounds the phone makes when a text or a message comes in.  Can anyone help me with this?

You should be able to scroll up to the indicator upper left hand coner and press track pad

Then select edit profiles

Select whatever profile you want to edit by highlighting and press track pad

Then scroll thru the menu to select options i.e. phone messages etc

There are several different ways to change your alerts. I suggest you open the message folder, press the menu key and then select message alerts. Change whatever what you want.
