I was BBMing with a friend of mine. In the main contact list, he was listed as available. However, in the conversation, the icon was the little smiley face with a very small "A" in a circle (had to get out a magnifying glass). I can't seem to find it listed anywhere. I'm guessing that my friend has the "Allow Now Playing presence status" option set to yes and this means he was listening to music. He doesn't remember.
Any thoughts?
