Blackberry Q20?

Is there a definitive answer from Verizon on whether or not they will sell the Q20? Passport looks "Cool". But really, Really, REALLY Miss my B.B.(Bold). I want to Switch Like Now... Lol, read on Crackberry Sept/Oct release. So my long story Short. Will Verizon Carry them?

You should know Verizon will not comment on any upcoming device or software upgrade until the last minute.  Their answer will be to check the following site

http://www.verizonwireless.com/news.html

Any news will be announced there.

I have no doubt that Verizon will carry the new BlackBerrys, but keeping them on display/in stock might not happen. This could be a continuing "we can order that for you" situation. I really want to see and use demo units in stores before I buy.

Q20 renamed Classic, so there is the realm of possibility of seeing Classic, Q20, Z20, and Z50 by fall.

All we can do is wait and hope.  Smiley Happy

I am sick and tired of typing long, detailed, technical emails on a virtual screen.  I can get the apps I need for business now on BB and will be going to the Classic.  Much prefer to stay on Verizon as the coverage is better than ATT (not great in rural north Louisiana but better).  But in balancing all the factors I need the Classic more.  If Verizon sells the Classic, I'm a happy guy.  If it doesn't, I'll have to move when my contract expires this coming July.

I see today on the BlackBerry website where you sign up for updates on the launch of the Classic that it will be offered in both GSM & CDMA versions.  So I think its pretty safe to say Verizon will have it. Very glad to see this!

The reps at my local Verizon store have confirmed that Big Red will sell the Classic. They still are not sure if Passport will eventually land on Verizon. I know, I know... trusting the reps with information is always a perilous endeavor, but this crew is pretty tuned in to the upcoming devices. Most of them are true phone geeks and live for technology.
