I wanted to know if the Blackberry can be used on prepaid or month to month services? I just purchased a Blackberry Pearl and I want to set up services in my area. The phone has a number assigned to it and it is out of my calling area. Can I do this?
It can't be used as a prepaid phone, no Smartphone/Blackberry can. Since you have an existing phone and wouldn't need to buy one you can activate it on a month to month agreement with no contract. They could give you a new number once you activate.
