Can I receive only some of my emails?

We have rules in our yahoo accounts so that incoming emails go directly to certain folders.  Can we have our Blackberry Curve 8830s receive not only the general emails but also those from one of the folders?

Unfortunately RIMs servers are only able to pull from the direct inbox, they are not able to pull email from nested folders.
