Good Day,
8530 Curve has recently started to randomly reboot - several times a day - for no apparent reason. It's never been a problem before. Started a few weeks ago. Don't run any apps to speak of. Earlier in the summer I loaded the Google Maps app but there's no correlation to that. WiFi turned off (don't use it).
Haven't dropped it nor has it been exposed to water. Memory card installed. Software version: "5.0 Bundle 1596".
Can't seem to find anything on this - can anyone offer some insight / suggestions? Phone's about a year old.
Many thanks!
- Tom
Oh No! The Curve shouldn't be rebooting several times a day. I can see how that would be a giant pain. I'd hate to keep waiting till it restarted to use the device. So lets get to the bottom of this immediately.
You are on the current software for that device. Is the battery loose in the back of the device? Do you have a lot of text or picture messages on the device? If so please delete old messages. No new applications on the device besides Google maps?
Please send me a PM and I'll further troubleshoot with you.
Thank you
