Deleting more than one message at a time

Is there any way to "select all" messages and delete them all at once?  Or at least a way to delete more than one at a time?

I I don't know about anything besides the storm, but if you select a date in the msg/sms app, then click your BB button, you should have the option to "Delete Prior" which essentially deletes all if you have today's date selected.

 

Also with the storm, you can select multiple items by placing your finger on the first item and then place a second finger on another item... it will select everything in between and then you can delete them.
