Does Verizon support Ver 5.0 of the device software, or only Ver 4.5??

Hi and welcome to the boards. I found this link for Verizon software updates for the 8330, and it's only showing 4.5.

Boost Mobile has OS 5.0 and you can install that on your Verizon 8330. The Boost OS is very buggy. Your best bet is to download a hybrid OS 5.0 from BBTweaks.com. The latest public release is v17 and is very stable. You will think you got a new BB. Be sure you read the tutorial. Good Luck.
