I wish to find my IMEI or my ESN number. Neither are listed under the STATUS area or on the battery as such. Is there some other name for them? Where else can i look?

options> status. IMEI or MEID (hex) is listed there.
aside from that, the only other places would be on the box (barcodes), or take out the battery and look at the sticker on the phone, or dial ##000000+send and you'll see it there as pESN dec or hex.
WARNING::: if you use the ##000000 option, DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING or could render your phone useless until you contact customer service.

i DO see MEDI (hex).Is the MEID (Hex) the same as the IMEI ?
