I did this too. Haha. Good times.
Load up Blackberry Desktop manager and click on the application loader. In the list of apps that pulls up is BBM 4.5 still there unchecked? If it is all you would need to do is check it and click "next" at the bottom. This should reinstall it for you.

You shouldn't have to get a new phone yet. You can do a hardwipe on the device, which erases all information from the phone and reinstalls the operating system.
So you would use Desktop Manager to back up your contacts/photos..etc and then on your phone under Options click on Security. Hit the menu button and select "handheld wipe". It would take about 10 minutes or so and it will reinstall everything. Then you'll just need to restore your personal data by sycning up with Desktop Manager again.

Hi, I have the same problem and there is no option for 'Hardwipe'. I'm going to Options>Security Options> and the options there are: General Settings, Application permissions, Certificate servers, Certificates, Firewall, Key Stores, Memory Cleaning, Software Tokens, TLS and WTLS
Any help???

I found it and did the 'wipe handheld' but it didnt do anything. BBM still isnt there.
Any any suggestions??

You'll need to redownload your device software from www.blackberry.com/software. You want device software OS 4.5 for your Curve 8330. Download the files and follow the prompts to reinstall and it should recognize BBM is the only thing (hopefully) that you're missing.
