You should be able to export/save the contacts to a micro sd card.

Please provide the model number for your blackberry curve, so someone can look up a guide for it and walk you through the steps.

The model number should look like: BB9330, BB8330, etc.

You can stop on step 6 if you only need to copy it to computer.  You will need Blackberry Desktop Manager and a USB to mini USB cable, a microSD card will be needed for the last few steps.

This copies the contacts to your computer as a Blackberry ipd file though, so it isn't very useful unless you're getting another Blackberry.   (Edit: there are also some blackberry file converters that might work).

Do you get an error message when you try to use backup assistant?

Hi there VThompson18!

Contacts are so important so I'm glad you're looking to back them up!  Your Blackberry 8330 has to be on the current software 4.5.0 in order for Backup Assistant to function.

Please visit this page to follow steps on updating your software:

There are many other benefits to updating your software so don't hesitate to do so!

Thanks,
