When I open my blackberry desktop software, it says there isn't enough space to synchronize my music, when I know there is. What do I do?

Is the sync trying to put the music on the device, or on the SD card? How much free space do you have ON THE DEVICE? Is DM trying to put ALL the music on your computer on to your phone? Take a good look at where it is trying to sync TO, and what it is syncing - if you have a lot of music on your computer and it's trying to go to the device, that could be the issue.
What size SD card do you have? And how much music is there on your computer?

Thanks for responding. I do have a lot of music on my computer. I just
bought a new SD card with 8 GB of memory, of which there's about 5 GB left.
It used to be when I would sync my device to my computer and open up the
desktop software, it would show me a list of all my music (on ITunes) and
let me pick which items I wanted to sync to my device. But now I can't see
that list.
