I can not figure out to save my life how to use my blackberry curve as a wifi connection. A verizon rep told me this was possible, but all my research says otherwise........PLEASE HELP

The information you need is for using your device to tether a computer to connect to the internet. You will need VZAccess Manager software, which is available free from Verizon. For more information on setup, see http://support.vzw.com/how_to_use/vzaccess_install_setup-3.html

Hi,
You can not use a Blackberry device as a hotspot for WiFi. You can, however, connect to a WiFi hotspot for connecting to the internet. For an example to connect to a WiFi hotspot, here is a video from Blackberry. The video depicts a Bold, but the Curve (you did not specify which curve, 9330 or 8530) can connect the same way. See, this is what I don't understand...I am paying verizon $20 a month to USE it as a hotspot...It is supposed to be the internet for a laptop....and it is the 9 series blackberry
