I have (2) new messages indicator on. This happened when I first set up my phone after purchseing it. I went through every file folder, and I have nothing unread. I have searched every folder, and nothing new.

How do I get this **bleep** message light off, it is the envelope indicating an email, somewhere. I have powered on and off, I have removed the battery, twice.

I'm ready to run it over and get a new one...I hate these indicators that I cannot clear.

Solved!

Three others had the same issue at the same time as me. I had to unhid all of my icons and it was some Verizon messages...
