I want a BB now, but I'm stuck in a contract with T-Mobile

My husband and I are in a contract with T-Mobile until the end of August. We want to switch to Verizon when the contract is up. We have 3-year-old really basic Motorolas we got when we first started with T-Mobile, and they are on their deathbeds. I want to get a Blackberry next, but what are my options for the time being between now and when we switch to Verizon? Can I buy a Blackberry through T-Mobile, Verizon, or somewhere online that I can use for T-Mobile now and Verizon later? My husband does not want a Blackberry too, so the BOGO right now wouldn't really help, though I guess we could sell the second one? Should I just wait out the contract?

I agree with the other people who have responded. If you get a blackberry from t-mobile you, one will not be able to chanbe it to Verizon, and secondly you will have to extend your agreement with t-mobile which personally I think would be a huge mistake. Also a prorated etf would I'm sure be a lot less then paying out the contract, and with  deals on bb's and other phones paying the etf and moving to Verizon now is a mute point, and I wouldnt wait.
