Issues with Blackberry Pearl Flip after two days of ownership

So I got the blackberry pearl flip two days ago.

 

On the first day:

 

The clock freezes all the time. when it freezes my alarm won't work.

 

On the second day:

 

Clock is still freezing even after calling verizon wireless tech support and doing what they told me to do. Yea did not fix it.

 

Now the phone has shut off automatically in the middle of a call.

 

 

Is anyone having these issues??? I am going back to the store today.

 

I am really frustrated because I turned in the blackberry storm because the screen kept freezing.

 

I am at the point that I am going to change companies!

Have you tried resetting your handset by pulling the battery?  <---This will solve a laundry list of issues when the BB starts going **bleep** up.

I have a Pearl Flip with no problems. May be a defective phone, so I wouldn't be blaming VZW for a hardware problem. If the battery pull doesn't work, get a new phone.
