Just got a BLACKBERRY CURVE 8330 .. NEED HELP ....

I am trying to figure out how to change the ALERT tone for the text messages. I've been trying but I haven't had any luck. If anyone knows how to do this... PLEASE let me know. You can BBM me if you'd like {keep personal info private}

Hi,

Try the following:

In the sounds profile list, click Advanced

Highlight the profile you wish to change

Press the Menu key

Click Edit

Change the profile and what ever notification you want (ie: SMS messages)

Press the menu key

Click Save

The Doc is correct.

 

When I was a Blackberry noob back when the original Pearl came out it took me about 2 weeks to figure out how to change alert settings! So I feel the noobs pain.
